In which I see a boy 4 times
Monday was totally fun. Cru was awesome. We each had a name on our back and we had to ask yes or no questions and the first person to figure out who they were won. I won -- I was Julia Roberts. My first guess was Hilary Duff. My second guess was Julia Roberts. But Eric wouldn't let me be the winner. He's a meany-head. Seriously . . . Aw, well. Then I helped Sara (basketball Sara) figure hers out and then Andy asked me if I knew who I was. When I said yes, he asked me to help him figure out who he was. He was wearing a burgundy shirt that said, "I <3>
And I met him on Tuesday as he was coming out of Sybaris. I was like, "What -- you checkin' out the chicks?" Sybaris is an all girls house -- but then I realized that he was probably getting done with his meeting and asked how it went. He said it was cool and everything and he was on his way to play some basketball -- whee! I was on my way to Perkins. Tuesday was DTR night and Lisa was upset with Matthew because they were TRYING to DTR but he invited a friend over in the middle of DTRing. How does that work out? For serious . . . She was furious with Matthew and called me and didn't say anything and I was so confused and finally, I said, "Lisa, do I have to come over and rescue you?" She said "YES!" I went over to Matthew's room and put on a worried/frightened/sad face and knocked on the door. Matthew opened the door and said, "Are you ok?" I said, "Is Lisa here? I need some serious girl time. Can I borrow her?" Matthew said ok and Lisa asked if it was ok, because I "obviously" needed her and we left. Before we left, Matthew said, "I hope you feel better!" We went up a flight of stairs and stopped and laughed hysterically. Oh, the fun of having an expressive face! (Sometimes it's totally annoying, but other times, it is rather advantageous.)
Yesterday was advising day. It was sad because my classes weren't working out. Blah. I was on my way to my second advising appointment and Andy came out of the um . . . the room where people lift weights and stuff. (By "stuff" I mean get all sweaty and gross.) You know, if you go to the Y, they call it "the gym" but at college, they don't call it "the gym" because the places where sports are played are the gyms. Hm . . . Interesting . . . Tangent. Anyway, I was walking past and Andy came out of the room to get some water and he looked really tired and I was thinking to myself, "Dude, are you alright?" He asked me how I was and I said I was fine and asked how he was and he said that he had been lifting and I was like, "Ah -- so that's why you look so tired . . . " He asked if I had been advised and I said that I had, but it was really frustrating because all the classes I needed to take were at the same time because I'm double-majoring. Why can't we just be able to be in 4 places at the same time? That would be so much easier. Tangent again . . . He asked what my majors were and he seemed very surprised when I told him that they're Psych and creative writing. But then again, Glen told me they don't go together this morning, so I guess it's ok. Honestly, I don't care. Maybe people think I'm nuts, but I think it's giving me more options than if I were going to go for a 4-year in just one of them and I really enjoy both, so why not?
I saw him on my way back from Psych today. He was in his geometry class in the Mac lab. He looked at us as we walked past. I'm gonna see him tomorrow night when we have our Big Break party. ;-) That would be 5 days in a row. Hm . . . What is up with that? I used to never see him and now he's everywhere.
